On the occasion of the studio’s tenth anniversary, 10JA (10 years old in German) showcased past, present and future works by Dimitri Bähler Studio.
Mass-produced objects, others existing only as unique pieces. Projects developed in a week, others over several years. Objects available on the market, others that haven’t (yet) made it, prototypes. Projects designed more than ten years ago and others presented for the very first time. This generous exhibition offered a sincere look back at the road I’ve travelled, while projecting a glimpse into the studio’s future.
Two large pallets of paper, dating from the time when the whole building was a printing company, a few decades ago, were the main reason for the scenography which is using this same paper.
