DB20 is the first tableware collection launched by the Swiss ceramic label PUUL, founded by Laurin Schaub in Bern, Switzerland.
Made up of three cups, two bowls and two center pieces, the series is the result of a research into shadow plays through a texture that sometimes resembles a relief, sometimes a coloured surface.
The pieces, glazed on the inside, are left raw on the outside, leaving the reliefs to appear in a very precise way while giving the objects a particularly soft touch.
Each piece is reproduced on a potter’s wheel using plaster moulds and finished by hand in many different steps.
