FLEXIBLE LIGHT

- PROTOTYPE

PROTOTYPE

, 2016

Starting back in 2015, Flexible Light is a lamp project based on a continuous research trying to answer a simple question; how to benefit from the flexible aspect of a led strip on a functional light in an elegant way.

Close to utopia, the proposal is a dynamic object based on the use of profiles hold by connection pieces acting as weight that are positionable in height. In one gesture the line curves; flexible light.
An early stage of the project has been shown on the occasion of the Design Biennal 2016 in the Swiss venue.
Curated by Giovanna Lisignoli, the exhibition called « In between – the Utopia of the neutral », featured the research in an interactive installation by Mouvement (Mathieu Rivier).
